This was a very detailed and thorough review of how to survive an EMP attack. It covered the basics of the different kinds of EMP attacks, how an attack will affect us, and how to prepare for it. If you've been wanting to know what an EMP attack will be like and how you can be prepared for one this is a great resource to start your research.
The book should be proofread before it is published, way too many typos and grammar issues, makes the caliber of author suspect. Next, it does not appear the author has any specific expertise in the area of EMP. Admittedly, there are some things that are concise and to the point, that was helpful. It appears the author did some research. It appears he has a garden and must love gardening because there was an inordinate amount of information on gardening. The faraday cage section didn't leave me feeling like I could trust his advice, as if, he never built one. I'd rather take the advice of an MIT physicist on how to build a faraday cage, but, maybe a metal trash can would work just fine. Who knows. But the overall amateur aspect of the book was disappointing. I recommend looking for a book written by somebody with some credentials.
This book is the very basics and would be ok as an inexpensive quick look on the subject. Simple and to the point, a better read as to how an EMP could effect our society is One Second After by William R. Forstchen, and the other two books of the series.Susan HogueKill Switch Bunker Games llc

The what and why was very informative but protection terms were mentioned but never explained. A good read for new preppers though.
Good basic information for someone that has never heard of EMP. It is very short and lacking details for someone that has almost any knowledge of the topic.
The author describes in great detail the ramifications of an EMP attack. He brings this topic to a level that truly allows you to envision the aftermath of an attack. I look forward to reading other books by this author!
Randall's latest guidebook is very informational and provides many viewpoints and tips that I found to be insightful. A great, easy read, as his language is simple to understand and follow. Definitely check this out to be more prepared!
