I was very excited to see this book. My last and first grayscale book was a huge disappointment due to paper and ink quality. There was only one four or so word review on this book but it really intrigued me. The book has about 50 (I'm guessing) or so beautiful pages of different doorways in grayscale. When I tried to color a page with a blue prismacolor pencil in was very heart broken to see the shorty results. While this book would make an excellent coffee table book it does not make such a great coloring book for several reasons. All of the doors and doorways are of wood and stone and other than one or two occasional colors everything needing to be colored is brown and gray. This being a grayscale book leaves it to be half colored then. On another note you can't use prismacolor pencils on this book because of the rough and bumpy texture. If you do decide to use prismacolor use a dark color because you'll need to use a blender pencil after that color and the ink darkens and rubs and smears into your color. I have left pics below. The picture with the blue door is one side prismacolor and the other side is prismacolor and the blender pencil. I did try one other picture with a prismacolor and that would be the red one and yes I had to use the blender there also. All of the rest of the colored pictures shown are done with several different brands of oil based pencils with much harder leads and slightly increased hand pressure. The rest are uncolored for you to see some of the inside book pages. You can try and use your imagination as to what color you would color those pages. They really should have just marketed this one as a coffee table book. The photos in it are beautiful and isn't an overly "been done" subject.

I really like doorways, so this works for me. Weel done.

Wonderful read and credo on how to get more out of life and take advantage of whatever comes across your way in life. I thought I was pretty free and did what I want, and wasn't sure I was going to get much out of this book. Well, I was very wrong.Turns out there are a lot of mental blocks and limiting beliefs I didn't even know I had. It's that little feeling when you want to do something, but you make an excuse for not doing it. that's what I was dealing with and kind of discovered.My favorite chapter is a recipe for adventure and it had some cool perspectives and exercises.

Good strategies. I liked the real life examples used because they showed me exactly what could be done with the advice on breaking out of the comfort zone. It's about confidence and bravery and courage, but that doesn't matter if you don't know the first step to take. Get both with this awesome book and learn what is definitely NOT common sense about living fearlessly.

Essentially a CBT approach to reducing fear of the unknown. Great review of basic CBT mixed some mindfulness. Probably something that should be reviewed on a regular schedule.

Amazing! My lifestyle is fairly chaotic where systems and order have a tendency to break down which is why I bought this book. To end the frustration. Lots of great advice on how to step out of perceived routines. Stuff I guess I already suspected but was too afraid to actually follow through on because it was against the "RULES."

This book is easy to follow and the recipes appear to be reasonably simple. I've made 2 stews so far and they were delicious 😋. Looking forward to my next meal.

I love the book. It is laid out nicely and organized

I have mixed emotions about this cookbook -- definitely not a favorite. Many recipes are made with some uncommon ingredients, but not all recipes are that way. Many, not all, call for wine, but I guess I am a Cretan because I don't like the taste of wine in my food -- I know, I am weird. I replace the wine liquid with broth or water. What is it about this cookbook that makes me not love it???? All that being said, there are some interesting recipes which I know I will try. My two favorite cookbooks for electric pressure cookers are written by Bob Warden -- Slow Food Fast, and Great Food Fast, but the recipes in them must be adapted to the Power Pressure XL. The recipes in them are really wonderful.

The recipes are AWESOME but you will need to figure out some rigging methods. For example, you can not "set the*"meat/chicken* and set time for 20 minutes button and then add oil, beef and onion and cook for 5 minutes" Baker, p.127). Once you hit the meat/chicken button it wants the lid latched on. Because of this you are unsure if you are supposed to cook the ingredients for 5 of the 20 minutes or a separate 5 minutes total. Also, while you can adjust the time I have found some of her directions for time settings to not work as the time settings on the machine are unavailable. This is the case with most of the recipes. I have begun to wonder if this book is for an earlier version of the Power Pressure Cooker XL. I have had to find my way through completing the recipes because I am not an expert or talented as she obviously is judging by the flavors of the food. I REALLY needed step by step to be very consistent and with the confusion of working the machine it has been tricky. There is no doubt to me that a seasoned cook could figure it out. I will be looking for a second book.....I want it clear that the author/cook did a wonderful job with her recipes but I as an un-skilled pressure cooker, and cook in general, need more clear instructions for my machine.

I haven't had the chance to really study the recipes in this book. At quick glance they seemed okay but not extraordinary.

I didn't really like that many recipes in this cookbook. I'm looking for something that doesn't have tons of ingredients/prep work involved. This book was disappointing, I'm not saying there isn't any good recipes just not that many that I'll use so the book is a waste to me.

Have not used it much yet but in that have enjoyed reading the recipes
