Okay, so I don't even have a Spot, yet, and I want to recommend this book to anyone that has one or is considering one. My husband and I have been discussing getting a device like this one for a while and we haven't done it because we just haven't been able to make a decision on which one might be right for us. We joked about how we wish we could just test them out before purchasing, but then I got this book. It kind of let us see all the ins and outs of the Spot so that we could figure out if it is what we need and we will be ordering one, now! The guide was a fantastic way for us to figure out if we wanted one in the first place, but now it is going to act as a fantastic guide on exactly how we use the device as well. The only complaint I have is that it seems that some of the most basic things that you would need to know are missing from the book. Maybe the authors assumed it was unnecessary since most people wouldn't need help with the very basic things. Overall, it is definitely very helpful and well-worth the purchase.

Step by step instructions on becoming an expert with the Amazon Echo Spot, almost like an instruction manual in my view but with more. Gives you the little shortcuts and easy ways to maneuver your Echo Spot. Lots of great tips as well. Great for a newbie or someone who isn't that quite tech-savvy or doesn't have the time to figure this out.
One of our children bought us an Echo Spot as a visual communication system to keep the whole family connected. I was unsuccessful in connecting the Spot with my mobile phone. This book, exceedingly detailed, triggered me to realize that I simply had an old Alexa app on my phone. Took me just a minute to uninstall the old app and install the new one and the Spot worked perfectly. Certainly worth the $2.99 price of the kindle version of the book!

I only have one main question: Under Settings>Home & Clock>Home Content>Stocks, Echo says "See quotes for your favorite stocks and market indices". I've looked everywhere I can think of, including this book, and there is no mention of this option. Of course, the other issue is trying not to get all of the "Try this..." even though I don't have it selected.
I found this book to be incredibly helpful and full of good information. With all the new electronics and devices we have it’s hard to keep up with everything they can all do and remember how to work everything. This book gives a step by step guide for what the Echo Spot can do and how to do each function. I consider myself fairly technology savvy but I had no idea about even half of what the echo spot can do, let alone how to make it do everything! I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning more about the echo spot capabilities, whether you have one already and just can’t figure out how to make it do something or if you are researching to see if it will fit your lifestyle okay. I actually find myself wishing I had books like this to reference for every device in my house!
